The Regional Federation of CIVAM gathers 22 groups of farmers and citizens in Brittany. They support individuals and groups, on a territorial basis, for innovative projects on the countryside. Some of them focus on a central axis : development of sustainable agriculture, local food system, energy saving and production, social accommodation on the farms, support for alternative entrepreneurs. Others participate in the sustainable development of rural territories at a smaller scale, but interfering with all local concerns, from culture to economy. A better alimentation and the renewal of links between cities and rural territories have now become a common issue.
