The research has closely engaged with policy issues as well as stakeholder groups, by analysing the practical meaning of policy frameworks for people’s experiences. The staff member for this project is based in Development Policy and Practice (DPP), which promotes critical debate and analysis of international development through:

  • Open learning for social change
  • Research that shapes policy and practice
  • Collaboration and partnership for mutual benefit

DPP is an interdisciplinary unit which combines diverse interests and expertise from various social science disciplines, such as anthropology, economics, geography, politics and sociology, as well as science and technology.
