Protect the Future (PtF) is an eco-political organisation created in 2000.

Based on the principles of political ecology, Grounded on the principles of self-organisation, respect of diversity, acceptance of ecological constraints and the goal of social justice, PtF believes that eco-politics is making a difference where traditional civil activity and party politics has not. Throughout our work we encourage citizen participation in public affairs in a variety of issues, including agriculture, fair trade, urban planning, public services and international development. Regardless of the issues dealt with, we place a particular emphasis on highlighting the interconnection of local and global processes, thus fostering solidarity with local communities in Hungary and worldwide.
