The main objective of WP3 is to gather insight from fieldwork in each country, in order to single out common and country-specific traits in AAFNs within the project’s overall theoretical framework. The WP3 will provide an account on the current state of AAFN initiatives, identify networks, actors, institutions and organisational structures. The occurrence of AAFNs in European, regional, national and local contexts will be analysed, and a theoretical report on AAFNs related to specific issues as well as a framework for the applied research on AAFNs initiatives will be provided.
